Got leftovers?

Yep, we all have them. Precious little remnants from projects long finished. Too small to make anything subtantial in size, but far too pretty to dispose of.

Now, I love and respect the granny square as much as the next crocheter, but not every situation calls for a multi-coloured square. So, what can you do with all those little bits and pieces?

Decisions, decisions!

I LOVE being able to stash-dive when I have an idea for a new design. It would be such a bummer to have to drive to my Local Yarn Store (LYS) or wait for an online order to arrive when the creative juices begin to flow. Reading that last sentence makes me seem terribly impatient, doesn’t it? Don’t get me wrong, I love visiting my LYS and yarn shopping online. What’s in a name?

So, what IS in a name? Addydae…. Is that even a word?

To explain: Many moons ago I worked in the public sector for Queensland Transport (where you go to get your driver’s licence etc for the non-Aussies here.) He was reverting back his birth name. Back from what? Eutha Nasia. Yep, that’s right. His signature was a little heartbeat-turned-flat-line and everything. I guess he decided that being Mr Nasia was not working for him anymore so he switched it back.
